COMPANY NEWS
As many of you may be aware, Miguel Aguila, co-founder of Transcom Solutions, passed away on April 2, 2020 from a several-year battle with pancreatic cancer. We appreciate your understanding of allowing our friends and families the past month to grieve in private before sharing publicly.
We’ve received many generous offers from friends, customers, and business associates as to how you can help. Thank you, so much, for the outpouring of love and support you have shown us during this time. All we ask for at this time are your thoughts and prayers. Because of the foundation that Miguel helped create, the company has continued to thrive since his transition in July 2019 to focus on his medical treatments.
As our business is heavily dependent on medical providers (physical therapists, diagnostics, etc.), there is no doubt that the impact will be felt in a variety of ways.
At Transcom Solutions, our specialty is and has always been Transportation and Translation. As you can imagine, the social distancing measures and CDC recommendations can certainly produce a challenge, but it is a challenge we are meeting head-on. Our business model is postured to have virtually no impact to you from a service provider standpoint. In fact, we have increased the ways in which we can be a partner to you during this time.
Sara Aguila, president of Transcom Solutions, is pleased to announce that Stephen Rios has joined the team as director of business development. Rios will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships within Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama, as well as executing sales and marketing strategies.
Uber's ability to identify its drivers as contractors and not employees has helped the ride-sharing app dodge liability claims. For the sake of rider safety, this needs to stop.

Bechtold has served as Transcom Solutions’ director of operations and a managing partner since 2015, and oversees the daily operations of the company, including the finance department.
